Biografía
Jesuita, científico y escritor. Viajó a Roma y Lisboa para dirigirse a las misiones de Asia.
En su viaje a Europa le acompañaron los familiares del destronado linaje Ming, para ganar el apoyo del Papa. En 1652 llegó a Venecia portando cartas de la emperatriz Ming, quien con otros miembros de la familia imperial y de la corte habrían aceptado el cristianismo y deseaban la ayuda del Occidente en contra de los manchúes.

Editada en 1656 Viena.
